Wow I have missed a Lot....

Didn't realize how terrible I have been keeping up with this Blog till I looked at the last post and its about our sweet prince getting a name.  So I will kind of speed through the last couple months but Blog all the important details....GO!

1.  We had an AMAZING baby shower for Sylvie.  First, it was a surprise,which was hard enough, but to have everyone there on time...WOW, double bonus.  We had the baby shower at the church Sylvie goes to, Corner Stone in Easton.  Ani and Rita (Sister and Mother) prepared everything from the crazy good food (for both Vegetarian and us Meat eaters) to the invitations.  All I had to do is set up and show up (double check).  It was a blast, everything from fun games like guess whats in that diaper to how big Sylvie 's waist is to amazing gifts from everyone.  We were even able to surprise Sylvie with her best friend Megan coming up from Florida. WOW!  What a day.  It even took a train of cars to bring back all the wonderful gifts.  We are incredibly blessed and thankful to everyone that came.

2. We had a couple doctor appointments, nothing really crazy.  1 of them was canceled and moved after we waited for about an hour because 2 of the doctors patience went into labor....YIKES!  This was also the only appointment we were ever late to and the only appointment we brought someone with us (Melanie)...go figure.  Luckily we rescheduled and I just happened to already have that day off.

3.  Our follow up doctors appointment was on June 18th, 2012 and we got the news that Sylvie is 1cm diolated and since Auden isn't a huge baby, Sylvie might still be able to give birth the way she wants...All natural.  Both mommy and baby were healthy and we now have appointments every week till the due date.  Side note...met a Sprint customer while there...small world...lol.

4.  The week of June 11th-16th (I know I'm kinda going back) I put together Auden's swing, high chair, put the car seat and stroller in Sylvie's car (Ani fixed...LOL), bassinet/playpen/changing table, started charging the baby monitors and put away all Auden's clothes.  It was a busy week but well worth it.  Only thing left to put together is the crib but I figure Auden won't use it for awhile so ill leave that in the box.

WOW!  I think we are all caught up.  We have our next appointment on Thursday June 28th (which is my sister Kendra's birthday) and a big get together with my family on Saturday.  My Nanna and Poppy came up from Florida early.  I pretty excited and now that Sylvie can go any day now, who knows what will happen.  I just keep the phone on LOUD/VIBRATE and fully charged, and that it.  I am hoping for a JULY baby just because of all the birthdays in my family in JUNE, but whenever he comes, I'll be too excited to care.

YOU.  Your stuck with WULF as a last name, but hey it's pretty awesome and I'm sure that will be the major thing you are called.  Maybe some howls in elementary school, but you will be ok.

Here is the LIVE video Sylvie and I got of our sweet prince.  Technology has taken great leaps and this video just blew our minds.  He looks a lot like Sylvie, and really not at all like me LOL.  Blood test will be taken...LOL.  Either way.... enjoy.

3d/4d Movie Night

Our appointment has finally come where we get some more 3d/4d pictures and a 30min video of the whole thing.  If only the little guy knew that the appointment was today, maybe he would have cooperated.  We were only able to get 10 photos and 5 min of video b.c. he didn't want to do anything other then play with the umbilical cord and his feet.  Though it kinda stinks it worked out because mommy wasn't feel good and couldn't wait to get out either.  I think she told him telepathically that she didn't want to be there today so he just didn't move...LOL.

We did get to hear his heart beat again, which lowered now to 140bpm and get a couple shots of his privates.  He's not shy, that for sure!

We are going to reschedule for another visit so that we can get the full experience and hopefully that day he'll be ready.  I'm gonna remind him for every day until the day of, trying to be proactive this time... LOL.

First Measurements and stolen heart beat...

First,
I forgot to blog one of the most important things in a pregnancy blog, and that is the first time he moves.  Now he has been moving a little here and there, but on Tuesday Feb. 28th, Sylvie felt him via hand on stomach.  I still have yet to catch him, but soon..............soon.

Anyway, today we went to the doctors and as expected, everything is good.  Both the baby and mother are healthy as can be.  Heart beat still normal, did not get an exact count this time, but I'm assuming around 150-160bpm.  We got our first stomach measurements today and Sylvie is at 21.5 centimeters.  I have no idea what that means but the doctor said that that is good.

Last but not least, today I Mission Impossible recorded the heart beat when the doctor was checking for it. I am sure she would have allowed me to get it, but this way is way cooler and more sneaky...LOL.  I'm going to make that my text tone for now...GEEKED OUT!

Had a Baby.... IT'S A BOY!

Its official... Sylvie and I are boy parents LOL!  I am truly thrilled that someone will pass on the Wulf name, since I am the last remaining male.  The pressure is officially off my shoulders and on my sons.  What a great father, eh?  Now the hard part.... the Name.

Funny thing is, since I can remember, Sylvie has warned me that she is a girl mom and that I should brace myself for TWIN GIRLS.  So basically I have been lied to for 8 years now, LOL.

We were blessed get some early "4d" pictures of the baby.  She said that since he is still developing that it might now look good, but I think it turned out Great.  Other then a Benjamin Button scare, he looks as handsome has his father *cough cough.  We are going to get more "4d" pictures in about a month or so, around 28 weeks so we can we more.  Some say that takes the surprise factory away, but who asked them LOL.

All joking aside, we are blessed and can't wait to welcome our first son into our home in just 4 months from now.  Pictures to follow...

Simple Check-up

Feb. 2nd 2012

We had another check up to make sure everything is going well.  Was a quick visit, and in the big scheme of things irrelevant, but was great to hear everything is fine.  They had the med. student check for the babies heart beat (holding strong at 155 bpm) and it was interesting.  We, as well as the med student, thought the baby would be a little higher by now, however he is still holding strong under the belly button.

We have our next appointment later this month, which is our 2nd ultrasound and Sylvie has a blood test coming up to check for any medical issues that may be forming.  We are also considering getting a 3d ultrasound with pictures and video.  Not sure how much we are going to do, but we MOST LIKELY are getting at least the pictures, maybe video.

Sylvie is also starting to really show a baby bump...We are taking pictures today for our 4months...

Finally , a baby bump. Funny how that's something to be waiting for. It's still pretty small, but overall super exciting to see my sons home get a little more spacious lol. He's moving on up from a bed room to a studio...lol...next up an apartment. They grow up fast.


Also, Sylvie has felt some more movement, so everything seems to be going well.

Movement or Just Gas?

So we are 15 Week and 5 Days (going off of the July 7th due date) and Sylvie text me that she think she felt her FIRST MOVEMENT!  We aren't 100% on this because from what I have read this is a little early to start feeling anything, unless this is your second or third child because you would notice details more.  Either way I not counting it out and I am SUPER excited that my little (man) is in there and moving.

Still no baby bump.  Crazy how that is something that everyone is looking for and are impatient about LOL.

15 Weeks

So I told my wife that I would take everything to do with her pregnancy online so that we can share it with our family and the world.  Well 3 months late isn't too bad LOL.  I will definitely be more active now that I got 15 minutes to start this and will be linking this to both my Facebook/Twitter... so follow away.

Not to sell my "sons" blog short but I will just foot note everything so far...

October 2011- Sylvie and I found out that we were pregnant.  We both are kinda Superstitions, so we told no one.

December 23rd 2011- Past the 1st Trimester worries and at Midnight I text ed the WORLD, including Facebook of the awesome news that I have been quietly keeping a secret for months now.

January 5th 2011- Heard my child's heart beat (160bpm)... crazies thing I have every been apart of.  Pretty sure I teared up more then my wife.

January 10th 2011- First Ultrasound... my child heart beat was now (155bpm) and lazy as hell,LOL. For most of the Ultrasound he was facing down, and would turn over so we could get a good pic.  The doctor shook Sylvie's stomach and made her cough until finally he woke and flipped over.  We got about 12 pictures of him.  The doctor said she was at least 80% sure it was a boy and that she would be more shocked if it wasn't.  We could see his hand, leg, brains, spline and the outline of his face.  Most magical thing I have ever seen.

So in a nut shell... this blog is up to date... LOL.  Technology is great, I have been able to SKYPE with Family all over the United States showing off the baby as well share my thoughts and excitement.  Next step is naming the boy and picking the God Parents, which is something Sylvie and I take seriously so its not an easy task.

So sit back, enjoy the ride of God's gift with my wife and I and check back every couple of days and leave me some love.
